  • <p>This paper proposes a new analytical framework for understanding India's position in the global economy. The conventional frameworks — GDP growth rate, FDI inflows, export competitiveness, infrastructure quality — all systematically undercount India's actual contribution to global value creation and systematically misread India's strategic position in the emerging multipolar world.</p> <p> </p> <p>The Chola-Nehru Model offers a different unit of account. Not what India owns. What India enables. Not the balance sheet India holds. The capability India embeds in the systems the world cannot function without. Not the alliance India joins. The indispensability India maintains to every alliance simultaneously.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is not an aspirational framework. It is a descriptive one. It describes what India has already built, already deployed, and already benefits from — invisibly, consistently, and with a durability that no visible development model can match in the world that is emerging in 2026.</p> <p> </p>
