- <p>This replication package contains the data and code to reproduce all results in "Paying £1 (£5) or nothing in dictator games: Unexpected differences" (Brañas-Garza, Espín & Jorrat). The paper investigates whether hypothetical versus real low-stakes monetary incentives yield different behavior in online Dictator Game experiments conducted on Prolific Academic. Three studies are included: a main experiment with £1 stakes (N = 1,195), a replication with £5 stakes (N = 308), and a survey experiment examining how participants interpret hypothetical-payment instructions (N = 299). All analyses are conducted in Stata. Datasets are provided in .dta format.</p>
