| contents |
This paper presents the first real-world application of the VEHICLE-T scale, a universal framework for measuring global tension through a layered causal model integrating action, reaction, context, and narrative amplification.
Using an observational window between March 25–26, 2026, this study analyzes the interaction between political discourse, global energy markets, and media narratives. The analysis demonstrates how perceived global tension can diverge significantly from material escalation, particularly under conditions of high narrative intensity.
The VEHICLE-T methodology introduces a structured approach to decomposing geopolitical events into measurable components, including primary actions, reactive dynamics, structural pressures, and informational amplification.
Results indicate that during the observed period, global tension signals were predominantly driven by narrative amplification rather than direct material conflict, highlighting the importance of distinguishing between factual escalation and perception-driven volatility.
This publication serves as the second paper in the VEHICLE-T research framework, following the formal definition of the scale, and establishes its applicability in real-time geopolitical analysis.
|
