contents <p><span>The green energy sector is rapidly evolving, attracting strong interest from stakeholders committed to minimizing environmental impact, reducing costs, and developing structures that meet rigorous sustainability standards. </span></p> <p><span>While wind energy research has largely concentrated on optimizing tower and blade designs for maximum efficiency, the design of wind tower foundations—often predetermined by manufacturers—has received comparatively limited attention and has remained relatively unexplored. </span></p> <p><span>This study introduces a comparative approach of onshore & offshore wind turbine foundations emphasizing both engineering, operational and financial feasibility. The approach involves a comprehensive analysis of design loads for both cases, implementation field particularly emphasizing the structural parts of each type of wind turbine foundation, while ensuring compliance with cost efficiency and highlighting the need for optimal use of each type to enhance overall system performance and cost - efficiency. </span></p> <p><span>The type of each wind turbine foundation is thoroughly analyzed and extended emphasis is drawn on further analysis of each category of onshore and offshore wind turbines foundation. The conclusions include the significance of separating onshore and offshore wind turbine foundations, their structural distinction and the unexplored field of further optimizing each type so as to fully comply with the needs of each type.</span></p>
