- <p>A set of 32 rice genotypes (<em>Oryza sativa</em> L.) comprising landrace and high-yielding varieties originating from indica/indica, indica/janica, and indica/O. rufipogon crosses were evaluated against low temperature at the seedling and reproductive stages using both natural low temperature in the field and controlled cold-stress in the cold water tanks and in the phytotron to select tolerant lines to cold stress, to study the underlying genetic mechanism of cold tolerance, and use in the breeding program as cold-tolerant donor parent.</p>
