contents
This paper develops the hypothesis that several apparently distinct physical anomalies may be understood as members of a common class of calibration residuals. A calibration residual arises when coarse-grained observables fail to fully resolve the deeper scalar–tensor organization from which they emerge. Within the scalar-clock and awareness-tensor framework, this idea first appears in the reinterpretation of quantum probability as incomplete stabilization prior to fully classical objecthood. Here, that proposal is extended across scale. At the quantum end, probability and entanglement-like correlation are treated as signatures of unresolved or incompletely projected relational structure. At the cosmic end, dark-sector-like residuals are treated as possible signatures of mismatch between latent interval organization and visible-matter-based reconstruction. The paper introduces toy simulations showing that increased scalar–tensor coupling sharpens branch dominance, shared latent structure preserves correlation under apparent separation, and visible-only reconstruction underpredicts effective rotation and expansion behavior when latent support is present. The claim is not that standard quantum mechanics or cosmology have been derived from first principles, but that a common calibration-residual viewpoint can coherently generate analogous signatures across scales and motivate a broader scalar–tensor research program.
