In recent years, the sector has faced both opportunities and challenges arising from policy reforms, shifting consumer preferences, global supply chain disruptions, and the transition toward electric mobility. This study aims to evaluate the financial health of leading automobile companies in India through an in-depth analysis of their financial statements, profitability ratios, liquidity ratios, leverage indicators, and market performance over a defined period. Using secondary data from annual reports, industry publications, and market databases, the research applies comparative ratio analysis, trend analysis, and Anova test to assess corporate stability and potential financial risks. The findings reveal significant variations in operational efficiency, cost management, and capital structure across companies, influenced by factors such as product portfolio diversification, export competitiveness, and adoption of new technologies. The study concludes with recommendations for strengthening financial resilience, enhancing productivity, and aligning strategies with emerging global trends. This analysis not only provides valuable insights for stakeholders but also serves as a reference for policymakers and investors in framing sustainable growth strategies for the Indian automobile industry.
