| contents | <p>Winduaji Village in Paguyangan District, Brebes Regency, is an area with hilly topography, <br>scattered settlements, and a high level of vulnerability to disasters such as landslides and floods. <br>These geographical conditions demand the existence of an early warning system that is fast, accurate, <br>and able to reach all residents without obstacles. This study discusses the use of GPS technology on <br>Android devices as a geolocation-based disaster alarm solution that can operate in real-time. Through GPS integration, the application can send automatic alerts to residents in the danger radius and <br>receive reports on field conditions directly from users under the name "kentongan Digital" as a <br>Winduaji Village disaster application. This technology is able to overcome the limitations of <br>conventional warning systems that have relied on manual sirens or the delivery of information <br>through village loudspeakers. In addition, this approach encourages citizen participation in disaster <br>mitigation and supports village governments in dynamic risk mapping. The results of the study show <br>that the use of Android GPS has the potential to increase the effectiveness of disaster response, <br>accelerate evacuation, and strengthen collaboration between the community and village devices. <br>Thus, the geolocation-based early warning system is a strategic innovation to build the resilience of <br>Winduaji-Paguyangan Village against future disaster threats.</p> |
