| contents |
This community service program aims to improve teachers' competency in utilizing Artificial Intelligence
(AI) technology to develop interactive teaching media, particularly in the inclusive educational environment at the
Aisyiyah Al-Walidah Special Needs School in Banyumas Regency. The main challenge faced by teachers is their
limited understanding and skills in utilizing technology, especially AI-based tools, to create engaging learning
materials that meet the needs of students with special needs. The training program is implemented through lectures,
demonstrations, discussions, hands-on practice, and evaluation of training results. The material provided includes
an introduction to the basics of AI and the use of several supporting applications, such as ChatGPT, Narakeet,
Canva, Natural Reader, and Movavi Screen Recorder to produce interactive teaching media. The training was
conducted over one day with 18 teachers participating, assisted by a team of instructors. Evaluation results showed
that participants were able to produce interactive teaching media with a good average score and demonstrated an
increased understanding of the use of AI technology. The level of participant satisfaction with the training activities
ranged from 70% and above, indicating a positive response to the material, speakers, and implementation of the
activities. Therefore, this training program was deemed successful in improving teachers' skills in utilizing AI to
support more creative, efficient, and inclusive learning. This activity also supports the implementation of the
Independent Curriculum, which focuses on the needs and potential of students.
|
