| contents | <p><i>Vireo altiloquus</i> (MGT):</p><p>breeds in Florida, Bahamas, Cuba and Cayman Islands and migrates to the Amazon Basin (Sick, 1997; Brewer & Orenstein, 2010). Records in Brazil are mainly to the north of the Basin and are from September to February (Stotz <i>et al.,</i> 1992). Only small numbers occur south of the Amazon River, and the southermost record is for Sinop/MT in March (WikiAves, 2016). Photographic records and collected specimens for AM and PA are from September to March (WikiAves, 2016; MPEG), which confirms the pattern suggested in the literature.</p> |
