  • <p> Release: Initial Version (v1.0)</p> <p>This release provides the first stable version of the Basal Ganglia & STN–GPe Simulation Workspace, developed for studying neural dynamics, decision-making, and stimulation strategies in Parkinson's disease.</p> <p> Overview</p> <p>The repository integrates computational neuroscience and dynamical systems modeling to investigate how basal ganglia circuits and STN–GPe dynamics influence behavior under normal, Parkinsonian, and Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) conditions. In addition, it includes simulations of standard 130 Hz DBS, closed-loop DBS, and a novel open-loop stimulation protocol, enabling comparison of their effects on network synchronization and decision-making performance.</p>
