This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection methods are interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out in three steps: reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study found that there are three types of parenting patterns carried out by families with single parents in Bulagi Village, Bangkep Regency. First, a democratic parenting style that positions parents as partners in dialogue, listening to complaints, and giving reasons to children. People encourage children to help each other and act objectively, firmly, but warmly. Second, authoritarian parenting that puts parents rigid, strict, punitive, and lacking in affection. Third, liberal parenting that positions parents has never played a role in children's lives. These three parenting styles are carried out by parents in an effort to educate their children well, but each parenting style always has its own weaknesses and weaknesses.</p>
