-
Abstract
We present GEODE 2.0, an extension of a phenomenological model of emergent gravity based on quantum informational correlations. The model is reformulated in a covariant framework through a scalar field χ and a conformal metric. The central relation
g_GEODE = sqrt( g_N² + g_N · A )
is derived from a thermodynamic argument following Jacobson (1995), where the total entropy is composed of orthogonal local and cosmological entanglement contributions. The model is consistent with local PPN constraints (γ = 1, β compatible within 10⁻⁴) and with gravitational lensing. The relaxation time of the χ field, of order 13.6 billion years, naturally suggests the observed separation between baryonic gas and gravitational potential in the Bullet Cluster. Open issues, including the cosmological stability of the potential V(χ) and the theoretical derivation of the coefficient α, are identified as future work.
