New record to Singapore.</p><p><b>Remarks.</b></p><p>Steinmann (1990) established the genus <i>Paralabella</i> for labiine earwigs characterized by setulose branches of the forceps, a more or less straight virga, and parameres that are not apically excised. The designated type species was <i>Forficula annulata</i> Fabricius, 1793. However, this species is evidently an anisolabidid, and is herein treated under the genus <i>Euborellia</i> (Brindle 1981; Kevan and Vickery 1997). Consequently, <i>Paralabella</i> Steinmann, 1990 is considered a junior synonym of <i>Euborellia</i>. To accommodate the remaining species formerly placed in <i>Paralabella</i> (excluding <i>P. annulata</i>), Kevan (in Kevan and Vickery 1997) proposed the genus <i>Paralabellula</i>, designating a new type species.</p><p>At least two distinct color morphs of <i>Paralabellula curvicauda</i> are recognized, one with a blackish pronotum and the other with a yellow-brownish pronotum, accompanied by differences in male genital morphology (Srivastava 2013). These morphs may represent separate species. Both forms occur in Singapore (blackish morph: ZRC _ENT 00064440 – ZRC _ENT 00064442, ZRC _ENT 00064425; brownish morph: ZRC _ENT 00064424), although specimens exhibiting advanced discoloration due to age were not conclusively identified.</p>
