Palakkad town faces severe traffic congestion during peak hours at major intersections and on major road corridors. The main aim of the study is to optimize the traffic signal controllers with the help of PTV VISSIM software. The aim of the study is to reduce congestion, delay, emission, and fuel consumption in the traffic stream.
