| contents | <p><em><span>Traditional medicine exists as an essential part of worldwide healthcare systems which developed through indigenous medical systems and traditional cultural practices and natural healing methods. Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine established essential health practices which have lasted throughout their entire history. The world has witnessed an increasing trend in recent years which connects traditional medical systems with modern health care methods. The study investigates how traditional medicine functions in present-day health care systems while examining its significance and growing public acceptance. The study obtained its data from trustworthy sources which included reports and academic journals and government documents until June 2016. Key findings show that people worldwide continue to practice traditional medicine which the World Health Organization estimates as primary healthcare for 80 percent of people who live in developing countries. Developed countries show a rising pattern of using herbal and complementary therapies which indicates that people now prefer holistic methods for their health maintenance. The study demonstrates that traditional medicine provides healthcare systems with better access points through affordable services which respect local cultural needs. The system requires scientific proof of its effectiveness for awareness campaigns and regulatory processes to function properly. Traditional medicine shows great potential to develop sustainable healthcare systems which include all people across the world.</span></em></p> |
