-
The manuscript tests whether the dark sector obeys hydrostatic equilibrium using 142 SPARC galaxies. It detects two simultaneous opposite-sign correlations predicted by one physical equation, hotter halos expand while stronger baryonic potentials compress them, with the collisionless CDM null hypothesis rejected at nearly seven standard deviations. This dual signature is confirmed against 100 CDM mock galaxy realisations, none of which reproduced the observed pattern. The framework additionally produces a sharp falsifiable prediction testable with current JWST observations, and recovers an emergent pressure cutoff that agrees with the observed minimum galaxy velocity to within 3.8 km/s without any fitting.
