contents <p><strong>Abstract</strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Millet is a highly nutritious, and environmentally friendly food item that contributes<br>significantly to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Its production<br>cost is also low and it is a highly nutritious food. It is considered a good<br>source of essential vitamins and minerals. Which helps prevent chronic diseases<br>and promote good health. Millets require fewer resources to produce than other<br>crops, and can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and address climate change.<br>The Government of India and State Governments are promoting the inclusion of<br>millet in people’s daily diet so that food systems can be strengthened. Millets<br>will be very helpful in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Under<br>which SDG 2-(Freedom from hunger) SDG 3-(Good health and happiness) SDG<br>12-(Sustainable consumption and production) and SDG 13-(Climate action).</p>
