  • <p>Intestinal parasitic infections remain among the most persistent and widespread health challenges affecting human populations worldwide. Despite improvements in hygiene, sanitation, and medical care, billions of individuals—particularly in developing regions—continue to suffer from infections caused by protozoa and helminths. This article provides an in-depth analysis of the biological characteristics, transmission mechanisms, and pathogenic effects of intestinal parasites on the human organism. Special emphasis is placed on their impact on gastrointestinal, hematological, immunological, and metabolic systems. Furthermore, the study examines modern diagnostic approaches, including molecular, immunological, and rapid detection methods, which have significantly enhanced diagnostic accuracy and early detection. Based on a synthesis of Uzbek, Russian, and international scientific literature, the article evaluates the socio-economic implications of parasitic infections and outlines перспективы for integrating innovative diagnostic technologies into clinical practice. The findings demonstrate that a multidisciplinary approach combining advanced diagnostics, prevention strategies, and public health policies is essential for reducing the burden of intestinal parasitic diseases.</p>
