The lesson continues with some additives permitted in organic agriculture for enriching the nutritional profile of the starting waste mixture; bone meal, phosphate rock, and potash clay. Furthermore, the potential of human urine as an organic supplement is highlighted; its urea content, the importance of inactivating environmental urease for its nitrogen preservation, the employment of acetic acid or vinegar to achieve this, sanitary precautions for its utilization and how to use it. The variables that need to be taken into account during and after the composting process are cited. In addition, the presentation highlights the benefits of coconut coir as an additive in final composts to enhance their physical and chemical attributes.
