| contents | <p class="16">The metadata quality <span>assessment</span> dataset was constructed by applying the proposed assessment method to metadata <span>retrieved </span>from nine science data centers. <span>Each metadata record was treated as the basic unit of analysis, and its quality </span>characteristics <span>were </span>quantified <span>across the four FAIR dimensions: </span>Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reusability.</p> <p>The <span>resulting</span> dataset <span>comprises</span> nine Excel <span>workbooks</span>. Each sheet <span>contains</span> 1<span>6</span> columns, <span>with</span> each <span>column representing</span> a <span>specific </span>metadata quality indicator.</p> <p>To achieve semantic alignment of cross-platform metadata, this study adopted the <span>W3C</span> Data Catalog Vocabulary <span>-</span> <span>Version 3 (</span>W3C DCAT<span>)</span> framework as a core reference model. Subsequently, metadata elements relevant to quality <span>assessment </span>were mapped to the W3C DCAT vocabulary.</p> |
