contents
This repository contains the code associated with:

Yang, L., Shang, S. (2026) (under review)
A simple two-feature-point method for actual evapotranspiration estimation: algorithm development and global validation.

The code implements the full T2 model workflow, including FLUXNET2015 data preprocessing, site-level dataset construction, evapotranspiration (ET) simulation, and result validation.

To reproduce the results, download the FLUXNET2015 dataset manually and place it in the /raw_data/ directory, then run the scripts sequentially as described in the README.

The T2 method provides a simple framework for daily evapotranspiration estimation without temporal upscaling, reduces dependence on vegetation indices, and improves robustness in feature-space representation, enabling a fully reproducible end-to-end workflow.
