-
Nanotechnology is currently one of the fastest-growing area, with important perspectives concerning their use in various technological field. The current review is dedicated to nanomaterials synthesized from transition metal complexes, more particularly those obtained from hydrazine-based ligands. These nanomaterials present some peculiar features that allow their use in very broad ranges of applications, including optical, electronic, magnetic fields, antibacterial, antimicrobial, toxicity reduction and photocatalysis have been presented. It narrates various synthesis methods wherein the methods are straightforward and low-cost. The current review highlights recent advances and future directions of this emerging field by looking into the techniques of preparations and applications of hydrazine-derived nanomaterials.
