The study highlights the benefits of using such materials, including increased learner motivation, improved vocabulary acquisition, development of reading strategies, and enhanced cultural awareness. In addition, the article discusses how authentic texts contribute to the development of critical thinking and learner autonomy. Despite challenges such as linguistic complexity and the need for careful material selection, effective teaching strategies and technological tools can facilitate their successful integration into the classroom. Overall, the use of authentic materials is shown to be an essential approach in fostering communicative competence and preparing learners for real-world language use.</p> |
