contents <p>This thesis investigates the equilibrium configurations of ensembles of particles interacting via logarithmic non-local and non-isotropic interaction potentials under the presence of a quadratic confinement. By application of Frostman-type methods, we derive the optimal solutions, in the sense of probability distributions, to the interaction problem and determine their properties with respect to the anisotropy and confinement.</p>
