contents Canon² — Trust Layer Research Archive. Natural-language programming requires the extraction of highly complex semantic rules from vast, inherently ambiguous source text vectors and translating them into rigid, executable logic structures. In the Lume ecosystem, this process relies explicitly upon generating a fully determinized Abstract Syntax Tree (AST). Without absolute determinism at the AST layer, language-driven compilation becomes probabilistic, fragmenting consensus models within decentralized architectures and shattering computational reproducibility. I introduce the Deterministic AST Compilation protocol, a rigidly defined methodology establishing exact constraint models for parsing, hashing, and validating structural code trees natively within the Lume architecture. I detail how this framework mandates strict node ordering and cryptographic digesting utilizing SHA3-256 boundaries, effectively locking intent pathways permanently. This AST determinism ensures algorithmic safety, provides the foundational scaffolding for Trust Layer certification, and enforces strict operational parameters within Lume-V execution wrappers. Through this process, cyber-physical governance channels and multi-agent coordination models can consistently parse directives without drift. I present what is, to my knowledge, the first complete deterministic AST model bridging natural-language-driven programming to high-fidelity, general-purpose decentralized processing environments, fully establishing algorithmic accountability at the point of intent expression.
