•
This repository contains the Python scripts used in the study on spatial interpolation of peak ground acceleration (PGA) values based on seismic hazard grids. The workflow was developed for comparative evaluation of interpolation methods, including nearest neighbor (NN), bilinear interpolation, inverse distance weighting (IDW), and TIN-based interpolation.

The repository includes synthetic PGA example grids, demo input data, and example outputs organized to reproduce the workflow structure. Interpolation performance was assessed using leave-one-out cross-validation (LOOCV). Based on the validation results, IDW was selected as the preferred method for the study task.

Bilinear interpolation is also included in the repository for comparison purposes; however, within the adopted LOOCV framework it was not suitable for the final method selection because the study area has an irregular, non-rectangular boundary, which disrupts the regular cell structure required by the bilinear approach.

The repository was prepared to support reproducibility of the methodological part of the study and to demonstrate the post-processing workflow for PGA grids in engineering seismology and GIS applications.
