| contents | <p>This dataset contains reclassified pedogenon maps for Australia, developed to compare a National Pedogenon Map (NPM) with a clipped Global Pedogenon Map (CGPM).</p> <p>To enable comparison within a common framework, pedogenon classes from the CGPM were translated into the NPM classification system using two approaches:</p> <p>(i) weighted closest centroid - <a class="mr-5 text-break" href="https://zenodo.org/api/records/19689644/draft/files/CGPM_AUS_weighted_ccentroid.tif/content" rel="noopener noreferrer">CGPM_AUS_weighted_ccentroid.tif</a><br>(ii) dominant centroid - <a class="mr-5 text-break" href="https://zenodo.org/api/records/19689644/draft/files/CGPM_AUS_dominant_centroid.tif/content" rel="noopener noreferrer">CGPM_AUS_dominant_centroid.tif</a></p> <p>These outputs represent two alternative methods for aligning global pedogenon classes with their closest Australian equivalents, enabling assessment of agreement and differences between the datasets.</p> <p>A corresponding reclassification of the global pedogenon map into Australian classes is shown in <a class="mr-5 text-break" href="https://zenodo.org/api/records/19689644/draft/files/GPM_dominant.png/content" rel="noopener noreferrer">GPM_dominant.png</a>. The final raster output is <a class="mr-5 text-break" href="https://zenodo.org/api/records/19689644/draft/files/GPMtoNPM_dom.tif/content" rel="noopener noreferrer">GPMtoNPM_dom.tif</a>, with the associated colour scheme provided in <a class="mr-5 text-break" href="https://zenodo.org/api/records/19689644/draft/files/pedoAU_color.csv/content" rel="noopener noreferrer">pedoAU_color.csv</a>.</p> |
