| contents |
This paper introduces the Personal Brand Equity Index (PBEI), a five-dimension practitioner framework for measuring personal brand equity in digital environments. Drawing on empirical observations from over 500 brand-building engagements across 14 countries, the study bridges academic brand equity theory (Aaker, Keller, Kapferer) with practitioner execution in the creator economy. The framework operationalizes five measurable dimensions: Content Authority, Platform Presence, Audience Engagement, Monetization Capacity, and Search Visibility. A sixth dimension, Algorithmic Entity Recognition (AER), is proposed to account for how AI-driven discovery systems surface personal brands. The paper contributes to marketing literature by offering a structured, replicable model for personal brand measurement and positioning it within the emerging landscape of algorithmic reputation systems.
|
