| contents | <p><span>Education, particularly teacher education, plays a crucial role in national development by preparing competent and disciplined future teachers. However, recent trends in contemporary fashion have contributed to increasing cases of indecent dressing among preservice teachers in colleges of education in Benue State, Nigeria. Many students adopt dressing styles that prioritize personal preference over institutional standards, creating distractions that can undermine discipline and the professional image expected of future educators. In response, colleges of education have introduced dress code policies to regulate students’ appearance and promote decency and professionalism. Despite these efforts, compliance with institutional dress codes remains a challenge. This study therefore explores the use of Digital Content Creation (DCC) as an innovative strategy for enhancing awareness and encouraging adherence to acceptable dressing standards among preservice teachers. By utilizing engaging digital media and educational content, institutions may strengthen students’ understanding of professional expectations and improve dress code compliance within teacher education environments.</span></p> |
