-
A quantum-enhanced refractive telescope is analyzed in which a pre-objective χ(2) medium generates signal-idler correlations that are subsequently used for image reconstruction. The model includes a signal telescope point-spread kernel, a crystal phase-matching kernel, an idler propagation channel, and a joint detector POVM. An exact integral formulation is given in terms of Airy and phase-matching kernels, followed by a Gaussian small-angle reduction that yields closed-form diameter-discrimination exponents. The setup is extended to an array.
