- <p>The quantum illumination telescope is reduced to the minimal statistical structure needed for finite-block evidence analysis. A signal-only receiver and an entangled signal-idler receiver are compared for uniform-disk diameter discrimination. Their ordinary Chernoff exponents give the first-order reliability rate per incident photon. The new object studied here is the third-order evidence-class diagnostic. The work assumes familiarity with the quantum telescope framework developed in earlier works from 2026.</p>
