| contents | <p><span>Here we present a record of stable water isotopes (δ18O, δD), mineral dust, and methane (CH4) from a 96.3 m ice core drilled to bedrock in 2020 at the eastern summit of Mount Elbrus (5,565 m a.s.l., Caucasus). Continuous-flow analysis provides high-resolution measurements, while the chronology is constrained using 210Pb, 3H, radiocarbon (14C), and three-dimensional ice-flow modelling. The upper 75 m of the ice core provide a dated record of the last millennium.</span></p> |
