| contents |
This article proposes an analytical framework based on Social Relativity Theory (SRT), interpreting clothing not merely as a material covering of the body but as a structural mediator that shapes, regulates and reproduces bodily forms, identities, and relations of power.

Building on the foundational formulation F = S(M), the article argues that social outcomes are not directly derived from the body, but are mediated through structures that operate across context, temporality and resistance. In this perspective, the body does not pre-exist structure; rather, it is constituted and made intelligible through processes of structural mediation.

Through illustrative cases ranging from basic forms of dress to contemporary and digital clothing, the article demonstrates how clothing functions as an interface between the body and social order. This approach contributes to a deeper understanding of the dynamics of power and identity in contemporary society by emphasizing mediation, relationality and structural transformation.
|
