- <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">We report a quantitative empirical characterization of the chirality-determinacy phase boundary previously identified at αth = 2.907 × 10⁻³ Mm⁻¹ (<a href="https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19966493">Cosentino, 2026b</a>), using 478,303 consecutive 12-minute observation pairs from the SDO/HMI SHARP definitive series spanning 15 calendar months (January 2015 plus January 2025 through February 2026). The probability of MEANALP sign reversal between adjacent observations exhibits a smooth gradient spanning more than two decades in |α|, rising from 0.50% at |α| > 0.025 Mm⁻¹ to 46.55% at |α| < 3 × 10⁻⁴ Mm⁻¹. The boundary is therefore not a sharp phase transition but a graded indeterminacy field whose deepest interior approaches the 50% chance limit characteristic of fully unresolved binary states.</p> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">Solar active regions undergoing chirality eigenstate transits exhibit a 75% probability of emerging in the antipodal sign and 25% probability of returning to the pre-transit sign, with autocorrelation analysis yielding lag-1 = −0.536 — the unambiguous signature of damped two-state alternation. The decoherence timescale is approximately 6 to 12 hours.</p> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">Within the <a href="https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19014729">Cross-Stitch Theory</a> framework, these findings empirically anchor the Mathieu group M₁₂ as the operating organizational structure of solar photospheric chirality dynamics. The αth-proximity diagnostic provides a real-time forecasting tool for solar active region chirality independent of conventional flare-watch criteria.</p>
