contents <p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span>ABSTRACT</span></strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>Justice is the foundation of any civilized society and the key to peace, stability, and real progress. No community can enjoy lasting prosperity or harmony without a fair system of justice. When injustice, favoritism, and the denial of rights exist, they create conflict and disorder. In contrast, justice protects people’s rights, builds trust, and strengthens social well-being. For this reason, Islam gives justice a central place in both personal and collective life. It can generally be understood in four main forms: legal, economic, social, and political justice, all of which are important in every area of human life.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>Within this framework, the institution of judiciary occupies a highly significant and sensitive position in Islamic teachings. It is through an impartial judicial system that society can be protected from chaos, insecurity, disorder, and corruption. Therefore, the office of judge carries immense responsibility. Its proper discharge with honesty and fairness is a source of great reward, while negligence and injustice invite severe accountability. In the light of the Seerah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad </span><span>ﷺ</span><span>, a judge is expected to possess noble moral and professional qualities such as integrity, courage, sound knowledge, piety, wisdom, good character, and practical understanding of human affairs. Likewise, the observance of judicial ethics is essential, including equality before the law, consultation where appropriate, and decisions in accordance with divine guidance and established principles of justice.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>This article examines the importance of justice, judicial ethics, and the desirable qualities of a judge in the light of the Seerah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad </span><span>ﷺ</span><span>. It also presents a comparative review of the qualities and standards expected of judges under the legal framework of Pakistan.</span><span>Bottom of Form</span><span>The study concludes that examining the judicial and justice system in the light of the Seerah is not only essential for understanding Islamic teachings in a deeper and more practical way, but is also highly relevant to the social and legal challenges of the modern world. It offers meaningful guidance for building a just, balanced, harmonious, and peaceful society</span><span>.</span></p>
