The study examines how digital posting increasingly functions not merely as life-sharing, but also as symbolic communication involving validation, identity construction, emotional signaling, compensation, vindication, relational messaging, and visibility management.</p> <p>The manuscript further analyzes the interpretive side of social media engagement, arguing that observers themselves are psychologically active participants who construct narratives, infer motives, and emotionally react to visibility culture. Through an integrated interdisciplinary framework drawing from social psychology, existential psychology, moral philosophy, behavioral psychology, hermeneutics, and Christian anthropology, the work critiques both cynical reductionism (“everyone posts for validation”) and interpretive overcorrection (“all criticism is projection”).</p> <p>The proposed IMDF model introduces a structured discernment process consisting of behavioral, motivational, interpretive, reactive, and ethical layers designed to preserve humility without sacrificing moral clarity. The manuscript argues for disciplined discernment that avoids naïve idealization, performative cynicism, psychological over-pathologizing, and moral paralysis.</p> <p>Developed within the MCA–IFS architecture and structured using SISIF–APS–DTI standards, this work contributes to contemporary discussions on digital identity, validation culture, performative behavior, symbolic visibility, emotional projection, and the ethics of perception in online environments.
