contents
EN: The article is devoted to the analysis of scientific pluralism as one of the central themes of contemporary philosophy of science. It is shown that the current discussion describes pluralism as a family of interrelated positions encompassing the plurality of theories, models, explanations, methods, ontologies, classifications, and research practices. The historical development of the problem is considered: the transition from the ideal of the unity of science to the analysis of the real heterogeneity of scientific knowledge, methods, and forms of scientific organization. Special attention is paid to the distinction between descriptive, normative, moderate, selective, and integrative forms of pluralism. The article proposes a regime-procedural reconstruction of scientific pluralism, which shifts the analysis of plurality from a general statement of diversity to a procedure for determining the status of the relation between research lines. Pluralistic strategies are considered according to their role in organizing the scientific field: from the actual coexistence of theories, models, methods, classifications, and practices to their comparison, competition, functional distribution, coordination, partial integration, reduction, unification, or inclusion. The main arguments in favour of pluralism are analysed: the complexity of the objects under study, the partial character of scientific representations, the plurality of epistemic aims, and the productivity of research diversity. At the same time, the limits of the pluralistic position are examined: the risk of relativizing criteria, the difficulties of maintaining a common space of comparison, the asymmetry of maturity among research lines, and the problem of determining the further status of the relation between them. On this basis, the article substantiates the thesis that methodologically productive pluralism functions as a regime for clarifying an as yet incomplete research relation. Its mature outcomes may include stable coexistence, functional distribution, coordination, limited integration, reduction, unification, or inclusion, depending on the nature of the object, the aims of the research, the stage of maturity of the lines involved, and the density of grounds for a stronger relation.

____
