contents This sculpture, originating from the church of Saint Giacomo in Lazzaro alla Tomba, Verona, was sculpted by a master of Sant'Anastasia in the first half of the 14th Century. The work is part of a group of three, depicting The Madonna. The two other sculptures in the group (also available to download from Scan the World) depict Jesus and Saint John, illustrating the scene of Jesus dying on the crucifixion.
