| contents | <p>In recent years, “Sound Studies” have appeared in Greece, a new field for the international bibliography. These are interdisciplinary studies with a wide range of applications, as the potential presence of sound in the various scientific fields that are composed of Sound Studies is wide. In our work, we attempt a useful mapping of this range based on the existing bibliography, both English-language and Greek-language. Our aim is not only to provide the interested scholar with some basic sources that will lead him to understand the identity and content of SS, but also to enable anyone who wishes to do so to be introduced to some relevant basic issues. Sound Studies do not only concern higher education but also primary and secondary education. Their influences on education are already evident mainly through the Music lesson and school activities, which point the way to a "sound education" (SE), which utilizes the presence of sound in education (SiE).</p> |
