| contents | <p class="p2"><span>Schizophrenia is a chronic, severe, and disabling mental disorder that affects how a person thinks, feels, behaves, and relates to others. It is characterized by disturbances in perception, thought process, emotions, and behavior, often leading to social and occupational dysfunction. Conventional psychiatric treatment mainly includes antipsychotic medications and psychosocial rehabilitation; however, long-term use may be associated with adverse effects and incomplete recovery in some patients. Homoeopathy, with its holistic and individualized approach, offers supportive management aimed at improving the patient’s overall well-being, emotional balance, and quality of life. This review article explores schizophrenia from modern psychiatric and homoeopathic perspectives, including etiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, miasmatic understanding, and commonly indicated remedies.</span></p> |
