•
This deliverable summarises the three use cases of the project: Lung Cancer, Prostate Cancer and Ischemic Stroke – and how the testing and validation activities within each will demonstrate the utility of synthetic datasets and federated learning in practice. It does not reiterate the material which was described previously, and can be found in D6.1 – User stories, usage scenarios and use case validation v1. It details the user requirements and technical specifications resulting from stakeholder workshops conducted in the UK, Finland, Spain and Portugal, which are expressed in the form of ‘user stories’. These user stories have been reviewed and reworked by the relevant work packages and have contributed to the design and implementation of a system architecture that meets the needs of all PHASE IV AI stakeholders. The first round took a rather clinical perspective so the second round of stakeholder workshops, held in UK, Finland and Portugal, have sought to reveal views from a more market-based perspective to develop the picture. This is a snapshot of the agile process, the use cases are being actively reviewed, refined and revised, and will continue to be. A set of usage scenarios have been developed, setting out in more detail how the outputs from WP3, 4 & 5 may be interpreted and the results tested. These usage scenarios also examine how Phase-IV-AI might seek to finance itself beyond the lifetime of the project, by looking at the various ways that interest could be developed and sustained and income generated. Finally, the Validation Activities Plan has been revisited and updated.
