contents <p class="MsoNormal"><em><span>This study examines why students require deadlines in academic learning and how deadlines impact their motivation, discipline, and task completion. The findings show that students often struggle with time management when tasks do not have clear due dates, which leads to procrastination and incomplete assignments. However, when deadlines are clearly set, students are more likely to organize their time, stay focused, and complete their work on schedule. The results also indicate that deadlines help students develop responsibility and reduce last-minute stress, even though some learners may initially feel pressure or anxiety.
