contents
This study aimed to examine the moderating role of perceived trust in the relationship between perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness on users’ decisions to adopt the Wondr by BNI application. The population in this study was all active BNI customers in Palembang City who had used the Wondr application for at least three months, totaling 90,758 people. The sample was taken using the Cochran formula, resulting in 383 respondents. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings revealed that perceived ease of use significantly and positively influenced the decision to use the Wondr by BNI application; perceived usefulness also had a significant positive impact on the decision; and perceived trust was confirmed to moderate the relationship between perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness in shaping the decision to adopt the application. Based on this, it is important to build a security system, service reliability, and transparent communication as an effort to improve the decision to use digital banking applications by customers.
