•
Discovered, analyzed, and curated by Independent Researcher Cătălin Remus Negrean (ORCID iD: 0009-0000-7695-8424).

This repository updates the primary scientific record for the 2,180-carat holotype specimen, designated Calvariadeite (CAL-2180-PL). Moving from theoretical predictive modeling to definitive low-friction mechanical testing, this paper documents a critical empirical transition. High-intensity light transmission reveals localized translucent green color bleeds along microscopically thin, tapered edges. Furthermore, low-friction sliding surface tests demonstrate a subtle, positive physical attraction under a powerful Neodymium (NdFeB) magnetic gradient.

These combined optical and magnetic diagnostic signatures successfully align the material within the elite pyroxene group as an anomalous, macro-twinned sub-variety of Black Imperial Jadeite (Omphacite transition phase). This archive preserves the physical constants, testing methodologies, and open-science documentation securing the specimen's unique provenance.
