contents <p>This repository contains the computational notebooks and supporting data for the paper "Dynamics of the Post-Mortem Transcriptome: A Constrained Manifold Approach to Biological Decay" (Merlini, 2026).</p> <p>Contents:<br>- Notebook 1: C1-Score framework, PCA manifold reconstruction, Lasso regression clock, Shannon entropy analysis, topological robustness (Mantel test)<br>- Notebook 2: Post-mortem network co-expression convergence analysis, null model, Kolmogorov–Smirnov testing</p> <p>The analysis uses publicly available GTEx V8 brain transcriptomic data (dbGaP accession phs000424.v8.p2). All notebooks are fully reproducible and also available on Kaggle (see Related works).</p> <p>Key results: Lasso clock R²=0.924 (MAE=1.39h) on independent validation set; network synchronization Δ|ρ|=+0.057 (Z=4.42, p<0.0001); RIN independence confirmed (r<0.05).</p>
