-
Bachelor thesis written and defended in 2017, at Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade.

While Alexander campaigned against Persian Empire, Greece experienced a flutter of activities. The opening chapters are about sources and literature used. The narrative is divided both geographically and chronologically. The narrative begins with a situation in Greece just after Alexander's ascension to the Macedonian throne. The next two chapters follow the military operations in the Aegean basin and the war of Spartan king Agis III against Macedonians. The largest chapter is about Athens during Alexander's time, due to the abundance of sources, both literary and epigraphic. It is followed by an overview of Greece during Alexander's reign and the social and economic aspect of Greek history in that period. The last chapter is about the famous affair of Harpalos as a prelude to the Lamian War.
