contents <p><b><i>Caridina serratirostris</i> species group</b></p><p><b>Diagnosis</b></p><p>Moderately robust morphology with a moderately short and straight rostrum (reaching end of antennular peduncle), armed with many dorsal teeth, at least 6 of them on the carapace, without apical teeth, the antennal spine ventral to the inferior orbital angle, a long antennular peduncle (about half the carapace length) with an usually long stylocerite (reaching end of first segment of antennular peduncle), pterygostomian margin rounded, segments of walking legs very slender, sixth abdominal somite about half of carapace length, a small pre-anal carina sometimes bearing an acute spine, a great number of spinules on the uropodal diaeresis (>15), numerous, long and plumose terminal setae on the telson and a rounded endopod of the first male pleopod, without appendix interna.</p>
