contents <p><b>Genus <i>Epsilon</i> de Saussure</b></p><p><i>Epsilon</i> de Saussure 1855: 229, 252, name for division III of subgenus <i>Leionotus</i> de Saussure of genus <i>Odynerus</i> Latreille in de Saussure 1852: 169; declared available from date of publication by Opinion 893.</p><p>Type species: <i>Odynerus dyscherus</i> de Saussure 1853, by subsequent designation of van der Vecht 1967: 31; confirmed by Opinion 893.</p><p><i>Ubirodynerus</i> Borsato 1994: 160, genus.</p><p>Type species: <i>Ubirodynerus excavatus</i> Borsato 1994, by original designation and monotypy.</p><p><b>Taxonomy</b>: van der Vecht 1967: 28, 31 (proposal to place on Official List).— ICZN 1970, Opinion 893: 187, 189 (placed on Official List).— Smith & Alcock 1980: 41–60 (genus).— Giordani Soika 1994: 270–273 (key to species).— Borsato 2003: 511, 552 (syn.: <i>Ubirodynerus</i> Borsato).— Kumar <i>et al.</i> 2014: 5384 (world checklist).</p><p><b>Distribution</b>: Indo-Australian.</p><p><b>Ethology</b>: Nests consists of clusters of cells on vertical substrates. The nest material has been observed by us to be resinous. Males are territorial on the brood cells, waiting for females to emerge, or patrol foliage.</p>
