- <p><b>Genus <i>Svercacheta</i> Gorochov, 1993</b></p><p><i>Svercacheta</i> Gorochov, 1993: 88</p><p><b>Type species:</b> <i>Modicogryllus nigrivertex</i> (= <i>Svercacheta siamensis</i>) Kaltenbach, 1979</p><p><b>Included species:</b> <i>Svercacheta siamensis</i> (Chopard, 1961) and <i>Modicogryllus semiobscurus</i> (Chopard, 1961).</p><p><b>Remarks.</b> Similar to most of <i>Modicogryllus</i> species, fronto-clypeal suture of <i>Svercacheta</i> species is very weakly curved. Gorochov (1993) emphasized the distinct feature of the genus is the very large spermatophore sac (Figs. 11A–C). We observed features of type species and <i>Modicogryllus semiobscurus</i> Chopard, 1961 and found that, except of spermatophore sac, they possess similar forms of epiphallus and ectoparamere. Thus, we transfer the latter species into this genus.</p>
